Hi Naimh

 Just a quick mail to say we had a fantastic time in America, you were bang on about the Doubletree it’s lovely we had a great room overlooking the pool and the room itself was great.

 We loved every bit of Orlando.

 New York was great to see but 4 days is more than enough there, the Hotel in Time Square was unreal.

 All flights were on time and we  had absolutely no problems at all.

 I’ll drop in when I ‘m in town to say hello and fill you in,

 I will definitely go back next year…. when is the best time to book.

 One other thing, do you have an email address for your customer service dept. as I would like to send them a mail. Personally I think good service needs to be acknowledged and I certainly got that from you. The rep even called me before I headed over just to touch base, I mentioned the room request and she said she’d go straight to reception to follow it up.

 We are back from our cruise and had a wonderful time, everything so organised and the food is to die for,  entertainment terrific and of course the ports of call made it for us.  I recently travelled on Royal Caribbean's "Splendour" after having to cancel my original cruise due to the Volcanic Ash flight disruption. I had a fantastic time and Tour America were excellent when it came to rearranging everything for me. I will definately be recommending TA to friends and family.  But also Lisa in Tour America  chose Bauer Hotel in Venice for us which was fantastic. It is pricy but a brilliant option for anyone looking to spend a bit extra.

 Thought you might like to know that we (ourselves and the Hendersons) thoroughly enjoyed our cruise last week. As first timers we were very favourably impressed. The ship is amazing and the level of service and organisation was faultless. The cabin was superb and very comfortable - lovely beds, plenty of stowage space, and an excellent bathroom. Your suggestion of staying at the aft end of the ship made all the difference as it was easily the best place to be on the ship.
The week was made by having perfect weather. Those who were on it the week before had terrible weather so we were very lucky.
If we had any complaint it would be that sometimes it was hard to get away from loud music when sitting out on the deck enjoying the sun!

My name is L  B and I have just come back from my holiday in Orlando with my family, admittingly when we got there to the Metropolitan resort hotel we were very disappointed, it was not as good as we expected, I know we opted for a cheap holiday but we just couldn't even let the children use the pool and thats what they were looking forward to after a long day in the parks etc, but we all agreed that your rep Sandra is worth her weight in gold, yes she addressed our concerns in a very positive way much to our favour and helped us get sorted out in the Doubletree Resort International. We would like to thank Tour America and their very helpful staff
for giving us a fantastic holiday to remember, especially the kids, and we will no doubt be doing business with Tour America again and recommending  them to everybody we know who are thinking of a holiday in America.

Many thanks for coming back with your comments, it is always good to hear what our customers think. The Metropolitan is just a hotel we have a very low rate in. I too would not really recommend this property and I would highly recommend the Doubletree, but there is a small increase in rate.
Would you mind if we put your comments up on our website, and I think your feedback on the hotel might help other people decide on a different property, or maybe indeed to even look at upgrading.

LOCAL IRISH DANCERS FROM MAYNOOTH/STRAFFAN HAVE JUST RETURNED FROM FLORDIA

The Lil Tully School of Irish Dancing Danced on President Day 15th of February on the Winter Garden Stage in Down Town Disney. 

After much fundraising and lots of hard work the delegation returned from Florida on Monday 22nd February 2010. 

Siobhan Keogh Kellett one of the Directors who is celebrating 20th years of teaching with the School is delighted with all her Dancers.  

It has taken a full year for all the planning to come together.

It was a fantastic opportunity for the class and the children will remember this trip for the rest of their lives.  Indeed some of the members going have not been on a plane before.  

An entourage of 127 people consisting of 37 dancers, brothers and sisters and parents/grandparents made the trip.  40 rooms were taken in the Crown Plaza Hotel. 

It has been on lot of hard work said Siobhan Keogh Kellett director of the school.  The excitement in the class was fantastic.  This trip will be the pinnacle of some of there Dancing life. 

My Mother “Lil Tully” started the class 45 years ago and I am delighter to carry on her name.  I have been teaching in Straffan the last 20 years. I am teaching in Maynooth since September 00. 

Siobhan would like to thank all the Staff of Tour America for all the help they provided in making the trip a great success.

  • Just to let you know we arrived home last sunday after a long flight and still getting over the jet lag, but most of all we had a wonderful time, the cruise was very good and it was nice that the open seating for dinner each evening was very good which gave us a chance to meet different people. Azamara Quest was great; they could not do enough for us. We would recommend it highly.

  • Just thought I would drop you a line to let you know that I had a brilliant holiday in Orlando.We stayed at the Quality Inn Plaza; staff could not do enough for us & the rooms were really comfy. Enjoyed all the parks; Busch gardens especially, & will definately be going back. The only problem I had was that we only went for a week! I will be booking with you again for sure & I'll recommend you to everyone! Best holiday by far!

Hi Vasco, Thanks a million for all your help in relation to our holiday to Orlando - we all had a fantastic holiday, so much so that we might be heading back next year as we didn't get a chance to see Disney!
Can you tell me if you can book hotels in the Disney resort?, and if so, is it too early to get prices for a holiday in December next year?

This was the first time for our family to go to Disney Land.We had the Holiday of a life time. The Lake Buena Vista Resort we went to was Brillant.We could not have stayed in a nicer place.The apartment had plenty of room for the four of us,and the swimming pool was huge.It was great to be able to relax in the evening at the pool with the kids after a long day at the parks.The location of the Resort was perfect because we were away from the main strip and it was nice and quiet.The staff at the hotel were very helpfull Our only regret is we should have stayed an extra week.When we go back we hope to stay at the same resort.A special thanks to the Staff at Tour America for all their assistance and advice and we will hope to see you soon.

I am just writing a note to you to thank you from the six of us for a fantastic carribean cruise on the Liberty of the Seas, it was absolutely brilliant, it was way past our expectations, we could not believe the size of it, our cabins were great with the balcony. The food, shows, bars - everything was excellent. We could not fault anything, we really enjoyed, the only thing was, we needed a rest or another holiday when we returned last week, we were exhausted but happy.

April 2009:

A couple of months ago I contacted Tour America for the first time with a view to organising a holiday. 
It was my first time to book a holiday without using my local travel agent and I was a little nervous about the whole thing. I spoke to Melanie Squires, and might I say that if she is typical of your staff then 
your staff are second to none!

Melanie could not have been nicer. She was very down to earth and put me at my ease straight away. 
She also explained everything to me in detail and I felt that she really was there to help me and not just to sell me the package that suited her best. She also showed an astonishing product knowledge.  In short I just wanted to let you know just how good your staff are, and to tell you that thanks to Melanie I will be recommending Tour America to all my friends.
