Golden Globes Awards – 16 January
The Golden Globe Awards are American awards for motion pictures and television programs, given out each year during a formal dinner. Run since 1944 by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), the awards are a major part of the film industry's "awards season" which ends each year with the Oscars and Screen Actors Guild Awards. The Golden Globes has grown to one of the highest honors for actors and actresses.

No trip to L.A would be complete without a great day-out shopping in some of the most exclusive malls or shops throughout the City of Angels. Some of the major shopping areas are located along Rodeo Drive, right in the centre of Beverly Hills, or the Beverly Hills Westwood Shopping Mall, or the beautiful shops and boutiques along Wilshire Boulevard, not to mention all the great shops along 3rd Street in Santa Monica.
