VICTORIA

From history museums and aquariums to fantastic shopping and dining experiences, there’s something for everyone in Victoria. It has the mildest climate in Canada so this allows for plenty of outdoor adventures. Victoria is known for having British traditions such as afternoon tea, double decker buses and English pubs. Be sure to visit the Royal British Columbia Museum and the 55-acre Butchart Gardens. During Winter, as Victoria gets ready for Christmas, the city is filled with lights and places serving hot, festive drinks to keep you warm and feeling cozy.

WHISTLER

In Winter, the most popular thing to do in Whistler is ski! It’s a winter wonderland but aside from skiing and snowboarding there’s so much to do for families in the snow covered village. From free outdoor concerts, museums and shopping to excellent and diverse restaurants, there’s something for everyone in the family. In summer, Whistler becomes a biking, hiking and golf hot spot, with four championship golf courses and myriad lift-accessed biking and hiking trails.

KOOTENAY ROCKIES

In this region of small towns and cities, each community has its own flavour and unique characteristics. Nelson, for example, set idyllically on the western arm of Kootenay Lake, is so rich with heritage buildings and cultural life it’s been dubbed Canada’s number one small arts town. In the Kootenay Rockies you can enjoy an abundance of outdoor activities and adventures like camping, canoeing, kayaking, horseback riding, mountain biking and even windsurfing!
