At Tour America, we’re passionate not only about creating unforgettable holidays, but also about supporting the communities that make Ireland such a special place to live. This December, we were honoured to contribute to the Parentline Fundraising Lunch, a beautiful afternoon that showcased the strength, generosity, and heart of Irish women.
Held at the elegant Westbury Hotel on December 4th, the event welcomed 150 inspiring women for an afternoon filled with connection, laughter, and purpose. Thanks to the generosity of attendees and supporters, an astounding €25,000 was raised for Parentline — a charity that has been a lifeline for families across Ireland for over four decades.
Parentline provides compassionate, confidential support to parents navigating every stage of their journey — from early childhood right through to the challenges of adult children. With more than 160,000 parents supported over 43 years, their impact is immeasurable.
This year’s fundraising lunch didn’t just stop at supporting Irish families. A portion of the proceeds was also donated to UNICEF, helping children in Gaza facing unimaginable hardship — a crisis in which an estimated 64,000 children have been killed or injured.
A heartfelt thank you goes to Miriam O’Callaghan, whose warmth and professionalism as MC created a truly uplifting atmosphere. One of the highlights of the afternoon was the incredible raffle, with prizes contributed by more than 30 generous Irish businesses — including Tour America. We were proud to donate a prize that helped bring more joy to an already magical event.
We applaud Parentline for the vital work they do and are grateful to play even a small part in supporting such an important cause. At its heart, this event reminded us that community is everything — and when people come together, powerful things happen.
Tour America is committed to giving back, supporting families, and strengthening our community — at home and abroad.
Here’s to making an even bigger impact together in 2025.
