Fremont Street Experience
Fremont Street is rich in history. It held many Las Vegas "firsts," such as first hotel, first telephone, first paved street, first Nevada gaming license, and the first high-rise. The Horseshoe was the first casino to install carpeting, while the Golden Nugget was the first structure designed from the ground up to be a casino. For many years, the western end of Fremont Street was the area most commonly portrayed whenever producers wanted to display the lights of Las Vegas. Today, Fremont Street is still famous for legendary casinos, free entertainment, and old-fashioned gambling hospitality. As some visitors would say 'it’s almost unreal and unlimited'!
Volcano at the Mirage
One of Las Vegas most renowned icon, the Volcano at the Mirage is a sight to see an an experience that should be on the top of your list of thisngs to do in Las Vegas. The Volcano in front of the Mirage is erupting nightly every hour on the hour from dusk until 11 o'clock and it is better than ever.
Welcome to Las Vegas Sign
When having fun in Las Vegas make sure you leave some time to visit the famous sign of Las Vegas. The Welcome to Las Vegas Sign has been part of the Las Vegas Strips landscape since 1959. This iconic structure has become a symbol of the city itself. While the location of the sign has moved several times along different places on the Strip, the Welcome to Las Vegas Sign has long been a part of the Las Vegas Strip.
Wildlife Habitat at the Flamingo
Appropriately enough, the Flamingo resort is home to a flock of live Chilean Flamingos! These birds, as well as a collection of other feathered friends, fascinate our guests and populate our Wildlife Habitat. In addition, you'll find swans, ducks, koi, and turtles populating these grounds. All of our animals are carefully tended by experts and live on islands and streams surrounded by sparkling waterfalls and lush foliage.
