I was incredibly lucky I have been invited by MSC cruises on all their brand new ships. But this one was very special, the brand new MSC World Europa which was launched from Doha last week.

  • Her unique Y-shaped open aft leads to a 341ft long promenade.
  • The promenade also features the record breaking, longest dry slide at sea – The Venom Drop @ The Spiral – an 11 deck high stainless-steel masterpiece, unique to the cruise industry.

1- Guest in the Yacht club have their own butler who meets and greets them at check and brings you and your bags to your room, this butler is with you right up until you depart.
2- Key-card access exclusively grants those staying in the MSC Yacht club access to the private lounge, serving unlimited complimentary drinks and gourmet canapés, and private fine-dining restaurant, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with an a la carte menu with chef’s specials, with a wide choice of gourmet dishes complemented by and extensive wine list.
3- Fully personalised service comes as standard, with access to a 24-hour butler who will quickly get to know each guest. And a dedicated concierge facilitating any request from dinner and spa reservations to a daily newspaper delivery.

The plush suites consist of a double bedroom, with walk-in wardrobe and bathroom complete with full-size imperial bathtub which connect to a separate living-dining area bathed in light thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows.

They are the first MSC ship powered by LNG – Liquified Natural Gas which hugely reduces their emissions and marks a milestone on their journey for zero emissions by 2050. Their state of the art design also includes the latest water recycling technology, to purify wastewater, and propellers studied to reduce the underwater noise in respect of marine wildlife.
