WEATHER IN ILLINOIS

WEATHER IN ILLINOIS

The climate is fairly consistent and temperate so the state experiences the 4 distinct seasons. The Northeastern part of the state, however, is probably the only part of the state that experiences weather patterns that would be considered inconsistent in comparison to the rest of the state.

During the months of July and August you can expect nice soaring temperatures from the mid 20’s to low 30’s. These summer months can also be the rainiest and this can add to the humidity in the air. Most of the state of Illinois experiences very cold winters with temperatures barely going above freezing point, except for Springfield which will have days above freezing point.
