Below are some of our favourite excursions to enjoy in the Dominican Republic.
SAONA ISLAND
Saona Island is a tropical escape which is reached by speedboat or catamaran. Enjoy the natural beauty of the Southeastern coast of the Dominican Republic before exploring this wonderful island. With white sandy beaches, you can relax on the blissful beach, take a dip in the clear Caribbean Sea, or perhaps enjoy a game of volleyball! Tours also include the opportunity to swim in a natural pool in the middle of the sea, and the opportunity to dance the day away on your journey to and from.
SANTA DOMINGO CITY TOUR
Visit and explore the fascinating city of Santa Domingo on an all day tour. The first city founded in the New World in 1496, Santa Domingo is rich in history. The tour captures many highlights including modern sights and architecture, history and even some local culture. Explore the Colonial Zone and learn about the Columbus family and where they lived. You will also get to visit the Basilica Cathedral of Santa Maria la Menor and so much more.
COCO BONGO
Dance the night away in Coco Bongo Punta Cana. With an incredible atmosphere, and an entertainment program like no other, a night in Coco Bongo’s will be one to remember. A Vegas style show, enjoy more than 40 actors, musicians, artists and even flying acrobats! VIP packages are also available for this brilliant nightlife venue.
WHALE WATCHING TOUR
Embark on an unforgettable sailing adventure through Samana Bay and enjoy enchanting natural sights as you search for the grandest winter visitor, the humpback whale! Sailing to Cayo Levantado Island, catch glimpses of whales as they swim and breach in the warm Caribbean Sea. Your Tour Guide will point out biological sights en-route making the experience event.
