If you’re planning a holiday to Nashville, there are so many amazing attractions and things to do that are a must for your trip! With world class studio tours, famed music museums and a selection of many other exciting attractions, you’re sure to have a great time in this Deep South city.
No trip to Nashville is complete without a visit to the historic RCA Studio B. Elvis Presley himself recorded over 200 songs at this studio as did many other music greats including Dolly Parton, Roy Orbison and Chet Atkins. Daily tours take place at the studio and are a must for any music fan.
While in Nashville, a timeless journey through the Ryman Auditorium is a must. Known as the ‘Mother Church of Country Music’, the Ryman Auditorium has had a diverse mix of artists play on its legendary stage since 1892! Take a backstage tour, record your own song in the Ryman recording studio and stand where music greats such as Jon Bon Jovi performed. The Ryman Auditorium is still a functioning venue and the stars of the Grand Ole Opry do perform weekly at it. If you’re in Nashville, why not try to catch a show!
The Country Music Hall of Fame which has just undergone an expansion is the world’s largest music museum. This fantastic museum features exhibitions dedicated to not only the legends of country music but it pays respect to today’s hottest stars as well. The museum does change its exhibitions up meaning that even if you’ve been before, there’s always a reason to go back! The Country Music Hall of Fame also has a fantastic restaurant on-site for you to enjoy a bite to eat.
The Johnny Cash Museum is a fantastic museum dedicated to the life and music career of the late Johnny Cash.
