Welcome to Nashville – the vibrant, eclectic heartbeat of Tennessee.

In Music City, the streets are alive with the twang of guitars and the soulful melodies that have echoed through generations. Immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of musical history as you explore iconic attractions like the Grand Ole Opry and the Country Music Hall of Fame, where the legacies of legends come to life. But Nashville offers more than just music- from historic landmarks in eclectic neighbourhoods, an elevated culinary scene, thrilling sports offerings, enticing galleries and captivating museums. And let’s not forget to mention how the true spirit of Southern hospitality enriches this city, making visitors feel right at home!

Where Legends Are Made

Music has always been the thread connecting the life and soul of the city with the people who visit it and with that in mind, a lot of the city centres itself around its musical history and legacy. Nashville is also known as the ‘songwriting capital of the world’ and world famous artists still flock to the city to use its many excellent studios. From icons like Dolly Parton, the beloved “Queen of Country,” whose unmistakable voice and prolific songwriting have made her a global superstar, to Johnny Cash, the legendary “Man in Black,” whose deep, resonant vocals and raw honesty defined an era of country music, Nashville has served as the nurturing ground for some of the genre’s most iconic figures.

Where to Visit

The Grand Ole Opry

The Grand Ole Opry is one of the most iconic and revered institutions in the world. Located in Nashville, the Opry is a live entertainment venue and radio broadcast that has been showcasing the best in country music since 1925. Originally founded as a one-hour radio “barn dance” program, the Opry has grown into a legendary showcase for both established stars and up-and-coming talent, earning the nickname “The Show that Made Country Music Famous.” You can find all genres and stars performing here each week, from country music legends like Carrie Underwood to pop princesses like Olivia Rodrigo and everything in between!

Ryman Auditorium

The Ryman Auditorium, originally known as the Union Gospel Tabernacle, was built in 1892 as a place of worship. It became known as the “Mother Church of Country Music” when it began hosting the Grand Ole Opry in 1943. Visitors are often awestruck by the venue’s exceptional acoustics, which have earned it a reputation as one of the finest concert halls in the world. From Johnny Cash and Patsy Cline to Elvis Presley and Bob Dylan, countless iconic artists have graced the Ryman’s stage, leaving an indelible mark on music history.

Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum

This iconic institution pays homage to the genre’s legendary artists, trailblazers, and timeless tunes. From the glitz and glamour of stage costumes to the poignant lyrics penned by songwriters, each exhibit offers a deeper understanding of the music’s enduring impact on culture and society. Here, the stories of your favourite artists are brought to life. The permanent exhibition Sing Me back Home takes guests on a journey from Nashville’s folk roots to the present day. Other exhibitions are constantly changing so there is always something new to marvel at!

Fifth + Broadway

Spanning an entire city block, Fifth + Broadway is a vibrant destination that offers a diverse array of retail, dining, entertainment, and cultural experiences. It features a curated mix of shops ranging from national brands to local boutiques. The National Museum of African American Museum is also located in the development and is the only museum dedicated to preserving and celebrating the many music genres created, influenced and inspired by African Americans.
