You will never tire of NYC or Las Vegas but how about mixing both destinations up together and see what you will get! With so many airlines going direct to NYC daily from Ireland and more hotels than you can imagine in one city, NYC is a great place to start any holiday!
If it is your first time in New York and you want to get a flavour of the city, staying close to Central Park works really well as you are right in the middle of all the action. Walking down Broadway is like being on a movie set with so much going on all around you and so much to see.
Of course if it is your first time there you have to see the Statue of Liberty, go up the Empire State building and sample as many restaurants as you possibly can. If you have been before you will have your favourite spots but staying in different districts can always add a bit more spice to the city that doesn’t sleep at night.
5th Avenue beats all shopping malls hands down for its range of high-end stores and big brand shops. Soho is amazing for the more adventurous shoppers where you will pick up some great items, which will never be found at home.
If it is restaurants and bars you are looking for there are so many different types to chose from as you have Chinatown for Chinese, Little Italy for Italian, the Meat Packaging District for Bistro, and Soho for Eclectic. Greenwich Village has some excellent bars and Broadway has some buzzing bars, which will make you want to come back for more.
If you like the buzz of NYC you will love Las Vegas where fun is brought to a different level. The Strip is awesome with so many incredible hotels, casinos, shows, and nightclubs to experience. The size of the hotels in Las Vegas will bowl you over as some have as many as 2,000 rooms, shopping malls, swimming pools, restaurants galore and of course the all important casino!
Apart from the main attraction of the casinos there is so much to do in Las Vegas. The shopping is as good as any large city in the States, the Shows outstanding with the likes of Elton John, Celine Dion, the Osmond’s and Mariah Carey all playing in 2015.
You can take a break from the casinos and shows and head out to the Grand Canyon and enjoy a hot air balloon experience of this breathtaking place or indeed take a helicopter ride through it. And believe it or not you can get married there if that is part of your holiday plan!
So if holiday fun is on your radar for 2015 a multi centre trip may be for you. Be sure to stay in the right hotel for you in both NYC and Las Vegas. There are so many to choose from so ask a Tour America travel representative to point you in the right direction.
